Authors Direct Redemption Codes

Strategically giving away your audiobook is a popular way to build your readership, boost awareness, and make new fans of your work. Now you can use Authors Direct Redemption Codes to give away your audiobook when it makes sense for you.

Here's how it works

When you distribute your audiobook through Findaway Voices , you'll be able to request 100 Redemption Codes for each title. You don't need an Authors Direct storefront to qualify.

You may share your Redemption Codes with influential reviewers or fans, the book's narrator, or anyone else who you feel could help raise awareness for your audiobook. US, Canada & Australia only for now.

Redemption Codes can be redeemed at authors-direct.com/redeem for listening in the Authors Direct app (available on Android and iOS). Codes are single-use and do not automatically expire.

You must be distributing your audiobook through Findaway Voices to receive Redemption Codes. You may not sell Redemption Codes. Refer to your Findaway Voices Distribution Agreement for more details.

Authors Direct Redemption Codes make it simple for listeners, too.

Redemption is seamless

Listeners visit authors-direct.com/redeem to enter their Redemption Code and email address. We'll automatically create an account and send them a link to download the Authors Direct app, where the audiobook will be waiting for them in their library.

If they already have an Authors Direct account, the book will simply appear instantly in their library, ready to play.

Reviews

Authors Direct doesn't currently support book reviews, but you can send your reviewers to other platforms where they can leave helpful reviews for other customers. Here are a few vendors that support reviews without having purchased the book on their platform: Apple, Audiobooks.com, Downpour, eStories, Kobo, Walmart, and Scribd.
